The person who made most of these themes is no longer going to make themes because people keep posting his work elsewhere..... That includes noriya

lol.u just sign up.i think u are the creator of this themes.just want other people easy to find it.and it easy make your theme popular.

The theme creator is listed on the themes... opium is the creator who makes themes for my site which these were taken from. He has expressed his concern to me about this which is why I am here. He has told me that he will no longer create themes because of people posting his work without his permission. Re-posting themes may seem innocent and that you are helping other people get the themes, but that is still posting other peoples work for others to download without the makers permission.

Opium does great work and is one of the best theme makers over at spiffy, but due to people re-posting his themes, he is not doing any more. The same thing happened elsewhere and the thread owner kindly took it down. I hope you would do the same so our skinners can continue to contribute to the scene.

Condorstrike who is also a great skinner has also expressed his concern to me and is shying away from doing any further themes for the same reason. People also go further and use images from their themes into their own themes without credit or permission and does not make these people want to contribute any further.

noriya, Thank you... I really do appreciate it as do the members that work hard on the themes. I am trying to get them to continue their work so we can get more and better themes.

Thanks aitor1976, I have spent countless hours on the site and strive to make it as good as possible as well as take member requests for new functionality.

If these theme creators dont want people downloading there themes they shouldnt be uploading them to the internet!

Dont get me wrong I love the work they do and some of them, especially Opium are REALLY good but what you have just explained as there complaint against whats happening is the most childish & double standards reasoning i've heard in a long time.

It seems these days people think its acceptable to release stuff but dictate to u the ways in which u yourself should use it - Seems like a page straight out of Sonys book to me!

I don't have a problem with people downloading them. If I did then I wouldn't have uploaded them to begin with. I just don't like it when people re-post them all over the place without asking or giving credit.
I've even had people remove my name off some of them and add their own to try and take credit for them.

P.S. not that it matters but people re-posting my themes is only a small part of why I stopped. The other reasons I won't get in to but there are plenty of new people making great themes for multiMAN now so there should be plenty of selection to choose from

People upload them so they can be downloaded and used, not so they can be re-posted other places and downloaded through other means without credit from the original uploader and original source. People are welcome to post images of the themes with a link to the spiffy themes page, or directly to that themes page on spiffy to download. I am all for sharing themes, but they have to be done in the correct way.
