    Default I've got the swapmagic cd , but not the dvd.

    Does that mean I can't play dvd games or why the 2 versions?

    Yeah you can't play dvd games.

    You can try http://www.ps2iso.net/index.php?topic=4347.0 and use a swap magic dvd elf that you can get in the ps2 applications section but idk if the tutorial will work with the cd version.
