    Default SwapMagic compatability? Please help a newb out!

    Hi, I recently ordered a new playstation 2 that was released sometime during the years 2008-2009. That means it has bios v2.30. If I buy swapmagic, will it work on the playstation 2? To swap the disk with a burned ps2 game, do I have to modify the ps2 first? I researched online and I found out that I need this "magic switch". Do I have to purchase that too? Or should I used the tap and tissue technique?
