Thread: 3.70 keys

ps3crunch deleted the thread i saw it yesterday.
to be honest i believe the 3.70 are ready to be used.

Has it been a month yet since the initial rumor of 3.70 keys being released? I can't keep up with all of this stuff anymore! LOL!

To cut all the hype, dreaming, illusions, and put things into reality.
If I give you all new keys right now, this minute, you all wouldnt have absolutely no use of them.
This is one of the reasons why keys not out.
USELESS TO 99% OF PEOPLE HERE!
But if you all want to dream, fine by me.

To explain in plain language, majority of 3.70+ games use new ps3 engine and features made after 3.60+ FW.
Wich means, if you decrypt any of the new games, game will still not work. Requiring heavy modifying of SDK features, etc.
And that method is long, difficult and works only on some games. Most of games WILL NOT WORK EVER on 3.55 CFW. Simply not compatible.
Tested, verified, checked, done. No new CFW, no new games.
Retails are easier to fix and only those upto 4.00, well, not all. You dont see the latest retails fixed.
Psn content is nightmare to fix for CFW 3.55, not gonna happend. Only handfull of games is fixable.

Believe me or not, your choice. I wanted to clear some doubts.

Regarding those posted, only to say, lmao.
Any guy who knows atleast some basics about keys can see by looking at posted ones that they are fake.
You need whole set of keys, not 2. What revision is that anyway. What ctypes are those anyway. Where is NPDRM set. Etc... ALL WRONG.

Well... that sucks...

why do the 3.60+ priv keys have to end up being "0000000.....0"? surely this info is undisclosed from a very long time. hopefully they get released(leaked) soon

that same 90% of us that won't know what to do with the keys even if we had them can really care less we still want them released
let us figure out on our own what we can and can not do don't hide them from us and assume we are stupid/unable to figure stuff out.
and if they never plan to release them then STFU about them and stop bragging about what they have or don't have

So you mean to say that you have those keys, but because 99% of us wouldn't know how to use them, you will not share your knowledge with the remaining 1% that could figure out a way how to use them and could probably come up with stuff that you didn't yet come up with?

about 90% of that is true. there are plenty of people here who can use the keys, decrypt eboots, decrypt firmware and sign keys into firmware.

Also, yes PSN games are getting more difficult to crack, but it works...and most can be cracked. the npdrm encryption is far wider opened than any of the newer encryptions. As long as games keep getting encrypted like they are, we'll continue to see a crap-ton of them.

I don't claim to be a dev or know the ins-and-outs of all the encryption/decryption, etc...but I certainly know enough to know that the rest of this is true. they do use different encryption for some new games.

The part that is NOT true, though, is that new keys will not be of any use to us. If someone releases a full set, we could be on 3.73 or 4.x firmware, and all of this wouldn't mean a damn thing
