Thread: Which old system did you think was the best?

I actually liked Sega Saturn the best. World Series Baseball was one of my favorite games on retro systems. I'd probably place N64 as my 2nd favorite retro system.

N64 had more notable titles than goldeneye which, imo, was a trash game. ZOMG seal the floodgates before the nerdrage pours in.

It's all based on opinion anyway but my opinion is better than yours. :p

My favorite old-school console was the SNES for its classics, followed by PS1 for its RPG's, then probably N64.
Lately I've been playing NES titles more than anything though. The NES was the first console I owned (that I could remember) and I feel that I need to go back and play some of the greats that I was either too young to understand or just found too hard to play.

List was taken from Gamefaqs top ten. Here is N64:

And lastly a game about killing ducks with a gun.I dont remember the game title.
I used to cheat by using the gun right on tv to kill em all

I've always wanted to play that. I have not even seen a Saturn up close and personal, but from what I've heard that is a must have (and possibly the best) baseball game.
But my pick would probably be Sega Genesis since I'm more of a Sonic fan. And if the Dreamcast counts as retro that would be a close 2nd. :D

Edit - I made a noob mistake and didn't see the poll, so I'm going with Sega Genesis all the way :D
