Thread: Two and a half men

For those who watch this show, what do you think of Ashton there?

Yesterday I watched season 8 episodes and it is soooooo more hilarious... I seriously doubt this show will be better without Sheen.

I give him an A for effort but the show certainly isn't the same. Charlie Sheen made that show & he just can't be replaced. It's really a shame! :(

Yeah, I decided to watch all the episodes I missed from Sheen era and stop watching Aston´s for some time.

he brought a level of skill that can never be replaced and all he has to show for it is getting his ashes spilt on the carpet

I really like it and it's still a good show but sometimes you do feel like something missing maybe all the girlss charlie got or Charlie himself but you just get that feeling

Actually Charlie Sheen didn't know much about acting, he just did what he did in the real life. But, no he's not replaceble.

I'm suspicious of this because i'm a big fan of Ashton because of "That 70's show". And i've never watched THM because i didn't like Sheen. So i started watching this season (although i have all the previous season, my GF loves it) and i'm enjoying it very much. Ashton is just much more funny. That said i agree that the show is completely different now so they will loose some fans but probably gain others. And i assume thats what the directors intended when they switched to Ashton. Future will tell if it was a good decision or not

i thought the show was alright........ but then again i only checked out two episodes so it might have got better. it was just weird to not seen charlie on the show. i just thought it was kind of unbelievable how he just like Allen move in without at least a credit check lol. oh well welcome to tv land right.

Haven't seen a single episode with Ashton in yet but I will say this: Once you change a shows actors, it's never the same. You fall in love with the show because of them and how they play off one another. Replacing them never works. Newcomers to the series will like it. Fans from the beginning will hate it. I'm a fan from the beginning and I'm sure I'll hate it when I finally get to see it. I will, however, give it a fair chance.
