Thread: 3.60 Games solution!

i hear if you buy a second ps3 you can play 3.60 games if you update to ofw

I will soon be releasing a tutorial

Ok after much demand i've decided to make a small tut on how to get 3.60 games working on your ps3.

Step 1. Go to this place and purchase your ps3

Step 2. admire how awesome you are and the purchase you just made is gonna be

Step 3. Ok heres where it gets tricky just follow these directions and you'll be good to go
Go to the Settings menu in XMB (Xross Media Bar)

Select System Update

Select Update via Internet

You will get a message if your system is already up-to-date
Otherwise the update will be downloaded and installed. Please note that this step may take a long time, depending on your internet connection. System updates are about 120MB in size
Now to check your version to see if the update worked
Go to the Settings menu in XMB
Select System Settings

Select System Information

The current version is displayed in the System Software field it should say 3.65

That's about it now your all set to play all those amazing new 3.60 games on your ps3 hope this helped you if it did leave some +rep at the door

I heard that if you go into your local store and cry to them that your CFW won't play 3.60 games then they'll just give you the new releases for free.

Seriously....try it.

Buying two of the same consoles unless you have a roommate/wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/leecher is a total waste of money. Just buy that last console you're lacking and play those new games plus others.
