We live in a ****ed up world.
No one stands up for anyone anymore, everyone is too wrapped up in taxes and economic destruction to give a rat's *** about the people who are truly suffering anymore. You see a homeless person and you don't care what brought them there, how the system failed them, why they weren't given treatment for their narcotic dependency or their mental instability, all you care about is them blocking your path to nowhere from you. We walk by the crippled masses and maybe hand them a buck...to feel better about ourselves, refusing to acknowledge the deeper issues within. It's better to donate thousands to george hotz than to donate a minute to our fellow man. We all need to have gigantic houses and fancy cars, large 3d tvs and playstations instead of living in a better world. I'm guilty. I live in a 2 story apartment with a gigantic terrace. I just filled a wedding registry full of extravagant things that no one could possibly need...what the **** does it matter if my dishes are marked with Gordan Ramsey or not? I'm studying law to save people, and yet, doing nothing to save them currently. With my spare money, we go to movies, we go out for fancy dinners, we purchase laptops and blackberrys and clothing. I protest for the homeless, and yet do nothing tangible to assist the homeless. I'm a failure. I will sell out one day, I'll defend murderers and rapists instead of focusing on those who need the proper defense because they can pay me more. There is no such thing as true moral supremacy, those who feel morally supreme are usually the biggest users of the world, and those who feel they aren't doing enough simply do nothing to enact change and attempt to do enough. We're all screwed. Religion and capitalism are the same concept, you donate to a system which does nothing for those who need it and lines the pockets of those who don't, and it's supposed to make some all seeing creature prize you above others and give you some kind of eternal pleasure. None of us will ever truly help the world. None of us will ever try.

It's all because of the system. Be it the educational system as Mr. ps3jawbreaker suggested or the punishment system or whatever system it was. Never blame the people, always blame the system because the system is what made people in the first place; that's why you can notice that people differ hugely depending on where they lived their whole lives, or of course depending on which country they live in.

However, I'll have to disagree with your last point about religion. You can't judge religions based on what you're seeing today, because honestly none of them are being applied right. Speaking of my own religion, Islam, I can fairly say that no country in this world, that I know of, applies the rules of Islam to the fullest; and that's not because they are not applicable, but because the world doesn't want that to happen (for some reason I don't know of). My religion orders me to be nice to people and to help when I can, and not for money but to gain the love of God. My religion has laws for how the government should take money, from whom, and in what amount. It also have laws for where the money goes, however these laws aren't even applied in the so-called Islamic countries.

I am merely trying to point out what I believe regarding some of what you said. Especially the point about Religions being the same as Capitalism because, and I emphasise, because Capitalism is the most filthy thing I've ever known, which by the way proved to be a failure on the long run. I can't help but wonder why this topic is in the 'Random Insanity' section when it is, in my eyes, pretty serious.

Religion is a buffer zone for the ignorant where I live.

Rednecks around the globe can afford nice holidays and a comfy lifestyle's while applying nothing positive into the community (mainly global), yet complain about the most stupid things. All the while, people in certain parts of the middles east are suffering and dropping dead by the minute. It's too hard for some to see outside the square they live in. It's hard for other's to except other people as humans.

People who complain about no 3.60 jailbreak are a great example

Humans were born to wreak havok to their world,do anything for money and fame,glory and power.We indeed live in a world of millions of homeless people,most being decieved by fellow comrades,others being brought at the brink of extinction due to wrong choices.It is all about money,always were and always will be.The ones who stand by and watch other people's suffering are everyday,normal individuals who think only of themselves.No one is really capable of offering anything without wanting something else in exchange.As we see massive slaughter in fron of our TVs,we are quite drawn to it with much relish.But when trouble comes knocking our door,most of us don't brave the fight and shout for help,but no one is going to come.This all may sound pessimistic but unfortunately it is the truth.In this world,when you laugh others will laugh with you,but when you cry you will be alone.Some men are not bold enough to take responsibility for their mistakes,their crimes.They all blame the system,yet they are unable to fathom that this so called 'system' is comprised by humans.Politicians show off with their false hopes of saving the worls,giving away alleviating but temporary joy.They want more and more votes.Capitalism does not fond or cater to the interests and needs of the typical consumer but all it supports is the substancial and ever prosperous increase of the producers salary.Other schemes like communism fail to see the bigger picture and lust for the day when they will have power once again,in reality though,bureaucracy rules.Profit and recession,rise and fall are all connected to the same factor:authorization.The time will come when mankind will betray its own nature and will destroy its precious and yet fonding environment,only the elite few are going to be selected for the new era of absolution and ethnic cleansing.Naive insolence it is,not only to the earth but to the very foundations of humanity as well.The world is condemned to meet its unmerciful end,while man will continue his irational onslaught elsewhere...This is the way it is.

I believe man can genarate impossible evil but I also know that man is capable of unimaginable good as well.In times of crysis and decay,when society seems to crumble,the true character of a man is shown.This man is able to help and care for others while most will not.Compassion.love,valour,courage.These are moral values which can't be measured by money.But also despise and hatred,cowardness and fear are also a part of humanity,a part strong enough to incete hope for next generations,the ones that do not deserve to be born and raised in a treacherous world.Don't listen to that crapp politicians and TV executives serve you.Always use your critical judgement to assess and evaluate situations,never yield for an easy route out of dispair and horror.Famine sweeps the land of Africa whereas people in <civilized> cities are busy hamming their mouths with loads of food,food they do not need.They do not eat in order to survive,yet they live for eating.
Life is a great,no the greatest of all gifts but it is nothing if it isn't shared with the people you love and the ones who need you.Do not pretend and wait for others to make the first step.Never follow suit.Each and every one of us is special and unique,and so are our actions.And since this is a site concerning video games,I would say games are good and sometimes breathtaking as well.But they are nothing compared to real life.There are people who would gladly steal the 3.60 keys from Sony,others would deceive for them.Both the Hackers and Sony are victims and villains.But what are we?
Our ancestors have put a lot of effort for us to be here and talk freely about all we deem fit,so we should as well not dissapoint them.In the end,I think we won't.

PS.I really believe this thread shouldn't be in this section as the matters it triffles with are of paramount importance.I guess the administators are too busy redirecting 3.6x CFW threads,I don't blame them.
As for Sony,I don't hate its people.If it weren't for them we wouldn't even be here,talking about all these stuff.And all this senseless war,let's don't hide behind our fingers.The removal of Other OS support was only a quite convenient excuse.On the other hand,one can do with their ps3 system as they please.You can go on flaming now, if you want to.I won't whine.C'est la vie

People are selfish, that's the short version.
