Hello,I want to ask anyone of You,friends,who speaks Chinese-does my avatar picture really means Leon or something else?Thanks.

Most likely not. There is no translation from English to Chinese for names like for example, Xing Ba won't be a reference to David Smith. Or Zhang isn't a reference to John.

What some western people do is take the first few letters of there name as the Chinese dictionary is very different to the English version (going by mandarin here.) So what I did was take J of my first name and Cu of my surname.

Also what some people do is go by a name that means something to them, as I have chosen XingBa as very name has a different meaning like some are wise person, fire dragon, etc. You will also find a lot of Chinese children who were the third eldest of the family called Xi which basically means 'third' but that has become a bit uncommon due to there one child policy.

Also if you want I could find out what that means.

actually your name does translate to Leon but its sort of direct word to word translation. for example your avatar picture says "li en" in chinese spelling. so in china/taiwan people normally call leon as li en.

@JC: btw, your avatar's chinese name 'xing(星)' has a chinese character for it but you chose some wierd chinese characters instead. lemme translate all the words for you.
圆= round, 盟= alliance, 月= moon, 友=friend, 民=citizen. as a chinese looking at these names..we usually say westerners who don't understand chinese to be just acting cool by taking the stylish looking chinese characters.
