Thread: Are Xbox people big babies?

So I just woke up, it's about 10 AM right now, and I went online to check out what's new with my usual bookmarks. I made a post on one Xbox site a couple of weeks ago asking if there would be any interest if I started to make a thread of jtag rips uploaded on FileServe. No one seemed to care, so I just dropped it. I came on today, freakin' days later, and I got a pm from one of the moderators saying that I posted in the wrong section. That didn't make sense first of all, because I posted in the jtag rip section. If there was an interest, I would have just edited that thread into a download thread. That isn't the bad part, the Goofus decided to give me an infraction for it. Ghey. He was basically saying he has no control in his real life and has a small pennis, so he makes up for it by giving out 1 point infractions. LOL.

And then once that was done, and I had my laugh, I checked out another Xbox site that I have been a member of for a little over 3 years. I made a post that the stupid search feature didn't work at all. So once again, one of the Goofus mods there commented on my thread before he closed it. All he had to say is that I've been a member on his cool site for this long and I just figured out the search doesn't work. And then he gave me a Google site search link.

How does a site go for 3 years with a broken search engine, and no one even tries to fix it? They can hack an Xbox, but they can't fix the search. Frakkin' priceless. And in both cases they tried to make it seem like I'm the one who's messing up. There's a reason why I'm not a mod, I'm not a big enough baby.

I'm just really glad we don't have petty, baby crap like that here. I can always depend on you PS3 guys to be a bit more grown up.

An infraction for posting in the wrong section?
I usually just reply to the thread or PM the user and then move the thread to the proper section.
The only time I give even a warning for that is if they do it numerous times and/or keep doing it and won't stop.

Diagnosis: Butthurt; apply ointment to the affected areas and the problem should go away within a few days.

In all seriousness, though, most Xbox people are aggravated, uppity douches (think Boom Headshot guy by a factor of 1/5). When people like that are given power, it's the usual case that they end up trying to be dictators.

Sharing communities should be caring communities.

lol just gotta say that as an xbox360iso member, I would expect a lot more from the mods in that community. IF that is where it took place. Just sayin. If it didn't then at least I can say I havent lost any respect for the mods over at that domain.

Hey Hey learn 2 post in the right sections. You posted a question in the download section like a fool. I dunno who infracted u but i would of 2 as that section is out of hand with nonsense like this.

It mostly has to do with modders seeing people post in the wrong section everyday, even the ones which are uploaders. I also find people don't pick a good topic sentence when making a thread. I did a search last few days on if the New FSD connected to the real XBL Marketplace as there was a option in the settings called "MarketPlace".

When trying to sort out the topics to read, I saw like 60% of them were "Um need help?", "What if I were to", "Could this really happen", "help really bad", "Just a little question".

When another person is trying to look for the same question you are trying to ask this give them no info of what your post is about and then need to spend more time clicking your thread and see that it has nothing to do with what they were looking for when they could of seen this if they topic sentence had a good foundation on what you were posting on.

I repped almost all of you guys. Glad I'm not the only one that believes some, not all Mods, get a little crazy with the ban / infraction thing. I retract the part about me not being a mod. I'm a Mod at console exploits, but I'm a cool one though. I'm like the kind of boss you hang with out. I never had to ban anyone, I did give a few warnings though.

The infraction part might be over board but alot of members of forum sights in general...especially the new ones.... either are to lazy to read the rules or if they do they dont follow them or post the same questions time and time again instead of putting a little work and effort and searching and reading.

The mods of these sights have a hard job keeping the forums in order and posting in the wrong sections or not reading the rules complicates their jobs.

Its understandable that they get mad.
