Thread: How did you come up with your username?

HI friends,

Let me start with mine
"nimitbhardwaj"
It doesn't have anything special...just ma name "nimit" and last name "bhardwaj".

but how about yours?

My first user name EVER was for rune scape (when I was 7 or 8 or something)
it was electcity, because electricity was taken

but I got this username a year after that, when my friends introduced me to stickarena. his clan was "demon" so I had to make up a user name with demon in it, so I got demonwolfdawg.

So I liked the username and go by it nowdays, preferred Wolfdawg, but Demonwolfdawg when Wolfdawg is already taken on a site.

yep i was a horrible speller in middle school and we was making up anime charters at the time and i wanted my charter to b named urchin green sniper. but i kept spellin urchin to Urcent. so wit that being said i just kept it the way how it was. and it finally became Urcent green protaginst. ^_^

For me i got my username because my first name is trevor and x7 thats the story the x7 part so basically i was at boarding school for 3 3/4 years in texas (i live in michigan) from age 12 to 16 for bad behavior cuz i was a little sh!t anyways my 3rd year there i was basically there longer than any other person there... :( ...but this new kid got there one day and his name was george anways alot of people hated me there cuz they had been there longer and i never changed my behavior or attitude until i actually left the place so anywas i was in the worse trouble and that means i wasnt aloud to talk to new kids let alone other people in as much trouble as me but hell i didnt give a flying f*ck so anyways me and my friend george became best friends and after we both left we contacted on myspace since no one really knew about facebook yet lol (at least not much if it was even around) and his username was drpepperx7 (x7) and i hadnt used a PC in ages since i was at the school so i asked him to make me a myspace ..yea sorry we contacted by phone not myspace duh my bad anyways so he was like what do you want your username to be so i just popped out with batteryfreakX7 because i was trying to find triple AAA batterys in my house which is a B!
+ch cuz noone uses them and i was FREAKin pissed anyways thats it and i later adapted the X7 part to my first nam and have used that on about 23 to about 27 different forums including but not limited to kbx.org/forums psgroove.com/formus pspiso.com wiiso.com emuparadise forums the psp daedalus n64 website forums psx-scene ps3news . com and way freakin more CHOW PEOPLE !!!

Okay well, Kamkar is totally random. But my first username was for RuneScape when I was like 7 or 8, which was Freeeed Fire, I was thinking of a name and I was like "something to do with fire" than I thought of "freed fire" and I was like thats pretty cool, but I wanted the username to be max letters so I used 4 e's

But my most used username I came up with like a year ago, it's "DasXero". Story behind that is I one time heard my mom call our cat "Das Kitty" she told me that "das" means "the" in German. So I combined that with my favorite bands original name "Xero". The bands now named Linkin Park. So that's how the amazing DasXero came to live.

Than there's Suynami, probably the one I'm most known for. I purposely spelt tsunami wrong for this username. It seriously pissed me off because every 5 min "You know you spelled tsunami wrong, right?". I'm pretty sure that I'm most known for that name, maybe 3-4 years ago.

Yasri2007 is the username I use on most of the sites!
I am from the middle east and My name is Yusri! When I moved to the US, for some reason people spell my name and pronounce it with an 'a' instead of a 'u' So in the US it is spelled Yasri! So this is where Yasri came from and 2007 is the year I first set foot in America!
People in america pronounce my name "Jasari" instead of "Yasri!" I don't know why but this is how every american pronounces my name! The S is pronounced an S as in the name "Sam" and the Y is pronounced a Y! But they keep pronouncing the S as a Z and the Y as a J!
when teachers ask me is this how it is pronounced? I just say "Jez it iz"
So my name went all the way from "Yusri" to "Jasari!"
