Thread: Why I Hate Lebanon...

Hey. I was born in Beirut - Lebanon in December 22, 1995. I'm almost 15 years old. I am extremely smart in Computers, no one taught me, just me. So, yeah, i live in Lebanon. Its SUCKS. Here are the reasons:
1- EVERYTHING is expensive. I recently bought a 32'' LCD for my room, and I paid 500$ for it. My 250 GB PS3 Slim, 500$ too. Each new PS3 game is between 70$ and 90$. New laptops are being sold in almost 1000$.
2- DIRTY (Unclean). ALL streets are dirty. You find Villas or duplexes VERY rarely. Almost all of us live in apartments in buildings, usually 7 floors. Yeah, and the buildings look all dirty(old, not painted well). You might live in some fancy house with like 3 floors, while we live 1 floor. We don't have backyards.
3- Manners. People here drive really insanely. like 10 accidents (or more) per day. Plus, they all LIE. And most are disrespectful.
4- Being Late. For an example, NBA 2K10 is being released in the US on October 5 (I guess). Yeah and it will be released in December here. After 2 freakin' months!
5- Internet Speed. The average download speed is 30 KB/S. You saw that? KB!! I'm sure in other countries it is almost 4 MB/S. A song needs 5 minutes. A Facebook Home page needs like 10>15 seconds (if not more).
6- Too much people. Lebanon, one of the smallest countries of the world, has A LOT of people. The beach is always FULL of people. There is always Traffic on the Highways.
7- Bad Electricity. In Lebanon, each day, the electricity goes off on 12:00 am 10:00 am or 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm or 6:00 pm. Or sometimes, the electricity goes like that, for no reason. I mean, imagine playing PS3 and "Wow! I'm gonna win!" then the electricity goes off and ps3 turns off. This damages the PS3. Just like unplugging it from the electricity while its on. That's not good... right?
There ya go! Even though Lebanon was once the #1 country that has tourists or that people visit. Well I think they come to just see the views or something. Well, "I" can't wait to graduate from college and travel to live in Canada, cause it seems so peaceful and calm and neat there. Well sure I will visit America also, Mostly Los Angeles cause I wanna watch a Lakers game (Yeah I'm a Lakers fan), and see California Girls..... they look hot on TV!!

This is what I think of Lebanon. And this is why I posted it on this Forum: Random Insanity. Thank You for reading this...

there will always people or countries having better standarts than your own
if you look at life all the way negative, then this is how it will be for you

and 70usd for a ps3 game isnt that much... i have to pay 60-70euros for new games in germany for ps3 games, which equals 80-95 usd

internet speed is really crappy, got a point there

but try to see the good things in life. at least you have a home, food and a family

thats always what people tell me :/ but still, life can sometimes be unfair...

No matter how bad it is remember, it could always be worse

You forgot to mention the bars, there are some great bars in Lebanon.
Trust me, I've drank at just about all of them.

Wait wait so you're lebanese or just visited Lebanon? How did u find it?

No, not lebanese, just visited.
I was there for a month on business, that business was taken care of within a week, couldn't change my return ticket for a sooner one so I got the rest of the month on holiday.
