Thread: what to burn?

i need to know which file to burn when i get a .cue and a .bin some people say u have to burn the .cue but i have been burning the .bin and the game works fine? also what speed should i burn for PSX games i have been burning a 4x speed is that right or slower?

Yeah man i would use the .cue when burning if you want the best possible chance of it working.
Yes most of the time the .bin works fine...........however the .cue contains the complete structure of the disc to be burnt and for games that use multiple tracks for sudio liek Tomb Raider burning the .bin will result in freezes when you load levels.


I would suggest burning at 4-6x max for good burns. :ThAnKs:

For PSX games, burn at max. If you get problems, most people don't, then burn at 4x.
And don't ask your question in multiple places.

ok thanks i do have a problem with final fantasy VII sometimes it doesnt load but thats all

i have a problem similar to that i downloaded an iso for ff7 disc 2 here. its successful but i played it on my ps2 and the screen is lowered a bit plus when i choose the continue option on the title screen it can't find my save file even if its there :o

you are loading your save file from your ps1 memory card right?

yes it is

Did you save the file with the NTSC or PAL version of the game, and did you download the NTSC or PAL version.

yup i got a ntsc iso and my saved file is the same( in my ps1 memory card that is)
