Thread: Burn PSX games; how?

??? i want to burn a PSX game i downloaded (ff7 ;D) onto a disc and play, and yes, i have my ps2 exploited (Free McBoot installed :RoCk, and wehn i extracted it, there are 2 files; Final Fantasy VII Disc 1.bin and Final Fantasy VII Disc 1.cue. I am using Nero Burning ROM, and i can also use any of the other Nero tools as well. i'm just confused; do i have to make the .cue and .bin into an ISO, or burn just the .bin, or use nero express to burn both :HmmM: help would be nice, +Karma ;D

In nero select burn image and then select the cue file.

EDIT EDIT: the .cue is only like 87 KB, are you sure that's it ??? or will the .cue also tell it to burn the .bin ???

Yes, select the cue file. Have you even tried it yet?

yeah, i tried it ;D also found that to play PSX games, go to your browser, put in a legit PSX game, let it load and let CD drive stop spinning, and then use your slide tool or flip top or whatever to swap to your burnt PSX game. thanks all ^.^

ive been burning just the .bin file :S and the game works am i doing it incorrectly? even though it works can i do something to my ps2?

If it works, then that's it. Nothing to do unless something goes wrong.

well you can also burn the bin file...

just try to burn it with the lowest burning speed as possuble...

try burning it with 1x-4x burning speed and it works perfectly...

but i never had to try it because our pc was sold and my playstation console has a broken lens and i'm trying to buy a new lens and our tv is broken...
