Thread: Problem with [MU] [NTSC] Metal Gear Solid

I downloaded the file, its on my desktop; I extracted it to my desktop in a folder called "MSG_Disk1." Inside of their was another WinRar file so I extracted that in a folder called "MSG_Disk1," thats inside of a folder called "MSG_Disk1." Now, inside of there are the following files: SLUS_005.94 (94 file, 636 KB), a DUMMY3M (DAT File, 27,001KB), a SYSTEM (SpeedDial, 1KB) file, and a MSG folder. Now inside that folder are the following files: BRF (DAT File, 5,662 KB), FACE (DAT File, 3,426KB), SLUS_005.94 (DAT File, 3,426 KB),VOX (DAT File, 191,420 KB), DEMO (DAT File, 252, 542KB), RADIO (DAT File 1,736 KB), STAGE (DIR File, 70,208 KB), and finally, ZMOVIE.STR (STR File, 46, 394. Can someone please guide me through the rest of the way please?

Theres the problem right there, what looks like a second rar file to you, is not! Thats the .bin/iso file which you need to burn to a cdr using nero etc. Don't extract that second file, just use nero and go to burn image, then locate that file and burn it at a decent speed.

I'm having a problem with the DISK 1 iso.
I tryed playing it with ePSXe, and yet all i get is Error loading MGS1_DISK1.iso
I think the copy may be bad. Because in a torrent file I'm downloading, the DISK 1 image is much bigger then the one provided.

It's a working copy as other people have downloaded it and are having no problems. The reason it's smaller than your supposed torrent is because I compressed the ISO via WinRAR with Best compression. It doesn't do anything bad to the game, just makes it smaller for people to download.
