    Question psx esr/mcboot mod

    hello,
this is my first time here and i'm hoping that someone can help or lead in me in the right direction.
first off let me apologize of my question has already been answered elsewhere.
i have read a few threads and completly understand that esr is only for ps2. okay, cool. i have already downloaded, burned and played a few games. :-) very happy.
    now my question is:
what steps do i need to take to be able to play psx games.
i have downloaded a few from here and i have .bin and .cue files. i understand the burning process for them and use img burn. well, atleast i think i do. i burn the cue file as long as there in the same folder correct?
so how do i go by playing those games on my current mod? it's a slim ps2 and memory card has mcboot.
i have read heard about swap trick or swap disk (cheat disk or breaker pro)
but how do you do this? any information on how to do this or lead me to the correct thread would be appreciated one million times over.

    thanks!!

okay, so i have that program in my computer. (psxlauncher.elf.)
now what do i do from here? the thread mentions something about ulaunch.
i'm sorry and i'm sure once i get it i'll see just how easy it is. but for now i'm still stumped.
any continuing help is greatly appreciated and needed.

uLaunchELF (which should have come with your FMCB installation) is used to launch ELF files on your ps2.
PSXLauncher can be run from either a USB device or directly from your memory card.
More info about uLaunchELF including detailed info on using it can be found here. Official UlaunchELF Forums - PSX/PS2/PS3 Scene Newz

does psxlauncher.elf works on a fat ps2? I watched some video tutorials but they are using a sensor blocked slim ps2. Do I need the "magic card" to open the tray or just simply press the eject button?

It works on (if I recall correctly) version 7 ps2s and up.
    Version 7 is SCPH-39000, 39001, 39002, 39003, 39004 or 37000.
