    Default Diablo on PSX

I am currently playing the PsOne version of Diablo; when I start a new game with an existing character all the Unique Item disappear, whether equipped or in my inventory.

Did anyone else play get this? Is this normal?

    Are you doing via:
    PSP Emulation
    PS1 on PC
    PS1 on PS2

In on PSP - I've had this happen, fixed it by turning off any cheats before I quit.

If on PC - I've never had this issue, at all.

If on PS2 - I've yet to go that route, might suggest getting the game from a different source and seeing if you just got a bad CD.

I'm playing it on PC with ePSXE 1.7.0 with no cheats. I guess I'll download it from a different source.

If it helps any, here's where I got it, I think:
    PSPISO

    Search: Diablo

I tried that one and 2 others, 3 different bios (both US and Japan), 5 emulators, I erased the registry entries for ePSXe, I tried to save on a blank memory card, I tried it on a chipped PS1 and it's still the same. I read online that some people had the same issue with the original game on a console.

So I guess I'll just have to do without uniques. It will be weird to have a Sorcerer without a Thinking Cap, but at least it gives me my Diablo fix until I get the PC CDs back from my parents' place. Although I must say EA did a pretty good job at porting it to a console, especially if you compare with Warcraft 2.

Thanks anyways for your help, I gave you rep.:D

    Ahh...weird.
    Well, you're welcome.

    BTW:
Have you thought to just DL a copy of the PC version?
There's disc and portable versions of the game.

yeah I have, but I figured since I had to download it anyways I might as well add a game to my PS1 collection, plus I was curious to see how the port turned out.
