Thread: game wont run

i have fmcb on my ps2 and when I play a burnt psx game, it brings up the "Please insert a Playstation disc" screen. what am I doing wrong? i burn it with alcohol 120%

By FMCB I assume you mean you're using ESR, and that can only boot dvds... every PS1 game is a CD. The only way you could do it is with a swap method or a modchip.

also, when I try to burn the psx iso with alcohol 120%, it never asks me whether I want to burn as playstation disc or not.

it doesn't ask... you put it in the second screen under Disc Type.

that's the problem, on the second page it doesn't give me that choice.
it doesn't say disc type anywhere.

ok I checked mine and it's Datatype, not disc type. sorry
