Some Questions I need help Mates
hey guyz, I want to know How Can I notice whether my PSX is modded or not,
I am able to play non-original copied games and never experienced the swap magic trick, so it seems that it is modded but I asked that question because I'm really confused (I never heard about modding PSXs)
Can I play my downloaded PSX NTSC U/C & NTSC J games on my PAL PSX console ?
Thx in Advance

The only method of loading copied PSX games on a PSX that I'm aware of is with the double swap trick. I've never heard of modding a PSX? I know you can play PSX games on the PS2 with the swap trick whether it's modded or not. You cannot play a PAL game on an NTSC system or visa-versa. You can change a games region.

of course you can mod a PSX... there were modchips back then too.

My bad. "Back then" I was stupid and paid to play games. Now it's just easier to drink and talk before knowing what I'm talking about. Honestly I don't know much about hard modding and Google is now more my friend thanks to N1ghtWalff!

so changing the game's region is known as patching right ?

not really... patching just means applying a patch. There are many patches you can use, region patches being one of those. ESR would be another one, Toxic DL, etc...
