    Default psx - which CD - R should I use?

    which CDRs schould i use?
    got some from a supermarket,700mb, they don't work
    any recommendations?

    sony, verbatim and fuji tend to work well. Maxell has always worked for me but I read they don't work for some.

    What brand did you buy? How are you booting backups exactly? How did you burn them?

    they're called lifetec. it's discounter house-brand.
    my psx is mod-chiped. i burned the iso with nero( didnt adjust any settings)

    Check your burn speeds go with half the max speed of the disc being used. What version of nero did you use and how did you back up disc?

    for PsOne I recommend using Alcohol 120% at 4x with PlayStation as the disc type

    I burned the disc at at slow speed. Its Nero OEM 6.6.0.14.
    i downloaded the iso

    If you were to use Nero open image and burn to disc. Also make sure its not a data disc that you are making

    Dont forget to check out the meadiacode of the cdr. Some cdr companies use ritek and from my personal experience my ps2 has a hard time reading cdrs with mediacode ritek.
