Thread: help with play ps1 games on a fat ps2

i just tried it at 1x 2.4x 4x and 8x and it still freezes at tha ps1 logo screen i swap out my trigger disk ff9 disk 1 and put in bomberman world and it loads to that point but doesnt go the ps1 logo and the disk is still spining past that point if my doing something wrong with thiz soft mod or tha buring plz let me know cuz im tired of wasting my cdrs. if anyone can help me step by step plz do so.i'm using the psxloader and to burn the games im using dvd decrypter and im downloading the ps1 games from rom hustler and i do download all the parts for the game i download. I have a fat ps2 im using just in case anyone wants to know but if anyone can help me out step by step that would make me happy. Thank you all and have a nice day.

Can I assume the following?
psxloader is the same as PSXLAUNCHER by vegito_93.

Your console is version 9 (SCPH-5*****) or newer.

Bomberman World (US)

My back-up copy of the game will not play on the PS2 using psxlauncher regardless of which trigger disc I try. Frozen at PlayStation logo.
Using the simple browser disc swap (I have a slim with lid sensors blocked) also does not work. Frozen at PlayStation logo.
Other games work fine using either method.

However, the same disc WILL play on my original PlayStation (with GoldFinger) using the same trigger discs. Strange.

So, it's most likely a compatibility issue & not your fault.
