    Default Play psx backups on ps2 modded with e17

    so this is the problem guys:-

    i got a NTSC-J, SCPH-77006 ps2

    it is modded with super 7 e17 modchip and i got no idea how to play psx games

    well, i tried to burn resident evil 1(director's cut) on cd (yes i burned the cue file and at a low speed of 4x) but it just did not play.

    every time i insert this cd and start the ps2. it goes directly to the red colored (please insert ps2 format disc) screen.

    hoping for some help................

    sorry i'm quite ignorant in serial codes whether it's slim or fat. so is your ps2's slim or fat? ever tried reseting/or pushing the power button twice when booting the game?
