Thread: i cant play my burned psx game..

yeah so i burned ff8 on a memorex cd-r and i tried the put a legit ps1 game in the ps2 and wait for it to pop up in the browser then highlight it and then swap it with the burned game using a slide tool... well i did that and all it did was load and then send me back to the browser.... what am i doing wrong?

so far i see one problem with your method

memorex CD-R, thats not recommended, now if any come in and say "i use memorex and it works fine" go and say goodbye to your laser, you'll be needing a new one soon

use a decent disc for a start like verbatim, sony, tdk, etc, etc..

psx burning is recommended at 4x

your browser method seems to be correct,

you could also just load up the psx game wait for PSX logo and swap then too

and most of the time PSX discs arent ISO'd correctly there mainly RIPS, which have very little chance of working in a PSX/PS2
