    Ok, just how in the heck does one burn PSX games?!? I've been downloading and burning PS2 & Wii games for years but this is my first time with PS1 games!

    I downloaded Dino Crisis 1 and have wasted almost 10 CDs trying to run the game on my modded PS2...

    I've used IMGburn, CloneCD, & Alcohol at the lowest speeds and all have failed me!
    I burned the game as Protected Game & Video Game in CloneCD, and in Alcohol I did RAW DAO, DAO/SAO, rectify sub-channel, etc... and nothing has worked...

    I followed a guide to burning games here
    Step-by-step guide for burning various file formats with various burning sofware
    but all has failed me. Please people, tell me how you burn your PS1 games :(


    CDs: Verbatim
    Problem: PS2 browser recognizes "PlayStation 1 disc" but once reading it it just enters a perpetual black screen.

    The Dino Crisis game has copy protection, that I have uploaded works on any Playstation1 unlocked.

    I record my psx games using Alcohol 120% and CloneCD.

    In Alcohol 120%, in the format "Playstation" RAW DAO at 4x speed.

    And in the CloneCD format "Game CD" at 4x speed too.

    Sorry my bad english.

    I did all that on both Alcohol & CloneCD. Nothing works :(

    Probably the chip on your ps2.

    On my ps1 game works normally.
