    Not my upload, just sharing.

I checked it myself and it works just fine on dex rebug 4.21
just install and play from the XMB

btw. I will welcome if someone has the patch or the extra downloaded material and can upload.

Zippyshare will do since Mediafire won't work =o
I managed to nab it using my mediafire account. Testing in a few minutes.

    Confirmed Working

Here's an interesting tibit: In my attempt at trying to patch the game in English using the PSP's version of the patch, I copied over an eboot from the PS3 version that was basically the same exact size as the PSP version's ISO. I put the eboot on my PSP in a folder called "Monster Hunter" inside the PSP's GAME folder and it shows up on the PSP's XMB in full. I booted it and it showed a black screen with japanese test mentioning something about the PSP and then it goes back to the PSP's XMB.

In conclusion, I think the PSP Remaster series might be able to be reverse engineered to play any PSP game. This might just be me getting ahead of myself but I'm going to try and see what I can do with what I know

I tried converting this big eboot to an ISO and use the patcher Team Maverick One has available on their website, but the patcher won't work despite how similar the ISO is to an actual PSP game. I'm going to try and switch out the eboot with a patched version of the original PSP Monster Hunter and see how that works.

Well, I tried everything I could. The major problem is that even with the EBOOT.PBP file from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD extracted using Eboot2ISO, I can't repack with ISO2EBOOT because it's over 728 MB. The eboot is also too big for the PBP Unpacker program to load properly. I also tried converting a game lower than 728MB to EBOOT.PBP format (Armored Core 3 Portable) and replacing Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD's EBOOT.PBP with it but it just ended up with a black screen and my PS3 restarting upon quitting game (as expected). I'd imagine that problem has something to do with the document.dat file located within the same folder as the eboot.pbp file.

The tools for the job are just unavailable at the moment or at least hard to find.
