Smile How to use 4.21 Eboots resigner to fix PSN packages!

Just like many of us I updated to 4.21 Rogero CFW, after the update I noticed that the PSN Games that needed a fix for 3.55 weren't working anymore, problem was that the PSN eboots had to be resigned for 4.21, anyway here's the tutorial (I fixed RE4HD):

    1. Download 4.21 Eboot resigner
    2. COPY the Eboot of you PSN game located in devhdd0/game/NPEBXXXXX/USRDIR
    3. PASTE it in the 4.21 resigner folder
    4. Run the resigner and press 2 and hit ENTER
    5. You'll be prompted to put the Eboot.bin in the folder (you already have done that), hit ENTER
    6. Now you have to enter the Game ID of the pkg, for example: JP0700-gameIDnumber_00-0000000000000000
    7. The resigner will create the resigned Eboot.bin and will backup the original one
    8. Replace the eboot in devhdd0/game/NPEBXXXXX/USRDIR with the one you've created
    9. Congrats

There are also option to extract the pkg's and edit the eboot and repack again, but this one is much easier.

NOTE: To view the game ID use pkgview and open the pkg, go to the param.sfo right click->pkg properties.

just what i was looking for, thanks melo..............sudeki300

is the title ID in the PARAM.SFO file what you enter as the game ID in the resigner, or is the game ID a different number?

I did it with Dragon Age II and didn't work, do I have to modify the param.sfo too?

UPDATE: Nevermind, it worked. I was using the backed up one (it took me like two hours to notice xD).

No, as I said in the tutorial you take the eboot from that directory and paste it in the resigner folder, resign it, then replace the old eboot in the directory with the resigned one.
