    I got this screen and stuck in this:

    i asked lightyear for your problem and he told me search youtube for "ps3 video reset"....the method used will work for this

    can i ask. i was able to convert my ps3 from cex to dex, then i converted back from dex to cex. i still have the 4 nor dump and eid_root_key. can i use this to convert my ps3 to dex. or i need a new dump? i can't find lightyears thread which i use before to convert my ps3. so i take my chance here. TIA!

    Yes problem's solved but whenever i turn on the PS3, it shows again.
    I'm using Panasonic 32".

    Upgrading and downgrading works great. Thanks for the help! I like the option of saving the different firmwares right on the hard drive to make the switching quicker. Is it possible to rename the firmwares when you save them to your internal hard drive? When I choose to save the 3.55downgrade.pup and Rogero's 3.55 pup, they both are auto saved as "3.55". Just wondering if it was possible to rename the files to differentiate? Thanks again.

    you can rename the pups to whatever name you like eg dexrogero355 or exeedy355 .You don´t even need the pup extension in the file.^^
