    Default Ps3 Fat ylod questions

    can anyone point me in the a good direction to a guide to fix ylod and can explain to me how to increase the fan speed on my ps3 sp it doesnt get the dreaded ylod again thanks for your help this is in the right section

    gilksy1 on youtube has a helpful guide, I repaired my Phat PS3 some time ago following his guide.

    You can't really increase it like you can on ps, but there are certain fan mods that can give you the right speed but they are hardware mods and obviously cost money. You can find them for 10-20 $.

    i was told you could do something with wires inside the ps3 some about 3.3 volts or something kinda makes the ps3 sound like a jet

    If you aren't used to soldering and don't have that basic knowledge don't try it, and messing with the wires like that might get you problems later on. The best and cheapest solution for you would be this one read through and check the videos, 10 or 20 bucks is not much and will save a lot of headache.
