Thread: 4gb+ pkg transfer

Ok so, i cant find any info (which worked till now or is understandable to me) how to transfer a 6gb .pkg file to my ps3. So like i saw GOW 1 and 2 are out with their HD versions, i downloaded GOW1 in 13 rar files, about 470 mb each. Now, once i unrar em i get a 6gb+ file which i cant transfer to my external hdd, since its 4gb+. I tried splitting it, but cant get it back together on my ps3 once i connect my ext. hdd.

Anyone got an idea how i can install GOW on my ps3 from a 6gb .pkg file?

why ppl did not understand there is help section, last time I am replying to question which is posted in wrong section,

for 4gb+ pkg file you can transfer in two ways,

first Use FTP to transfer your pkg file in anywhere you want in dev_hdd0, I suggest that you crease new folder in GAMES > PKGS and place there
second way is you use NTFS support to transfer such large files, see my tut in tut section about that.

now when you transfer file into ps3 its time to lunch it,

open multiman > file manager > select pkg file and back to XMB now if you go to install pkg you can see your selected File
