Thread: Gran turismo 5 online problem

Hello. can somebody help me. I update my ps3 on 4.0 and gran turismo on 2.03, then i create account on ps network and i sign in but when want connect GT5, always say unable to connect to the server.
is it possible that they know that i was previously been on cfw? what can I do? thanx

no, they won't know you were on cfw.... do you hav the original disc??

Yes everything is legit. ofw 4.0 and GT last update.but I see some bugs when playing game.when I enable internet, game don`t allow me go in garage and other options in left corner and put me in main menu, but when disable internet its ok.

now I got another problem. I format HDD and copy saved files for games, now when I want to play GT5 it say that using saved data from another user and don`t allow me to use this save.please help me.thx

GT5 save files are pretty specific....if you hit triangle n' see information, you'll notice they don't allow backups, which means you cannot copy save files and use them
on another console or after formating or whatever....
About the other question: hav you downloaded the gt5 update directly from your ps3 or you passed it through a external dev???
if you got it on the internet...make sure you haven't mixed up BCES with BCUS..

External dev?? is this possible on OFW? no i download it direct from ps3.
ok. I start game from beginning and now I have another problem, I drive S license all with gold and collect GTR but when i check car, give me GT logo and hit me in gt menu. and few more cars I cant use.
I don`t understand this, when play backed up this game on cfw I never have problem. now update my console and game to play online but and this is impossible to me. i think that sony need to start work on bugs not only on security.

Now I delete game data and can access all cars on 1.0. but I want update game.

man, your problem is weird...i'm also a gt5 player/fan, but never faced this...
i guess your problem is the following: update 2.03 requires 3.6+ FW.... so, you can update up to 1.09 (fw 3.5) , as i did....
try to do it this way: delete all game data....start game and it will reinstall like 17 mb of game data... exit game...
download updates 1.05, 1.06, 1.07, 1.08, 1.09 and install it in this order...it will work believe me...if it doesn't you'll have to delete game saves...

How can I update game on ofw via usb?
my ps is on ofw4.0. I think that problem is that: i can,`t win s2 race with gold (game on 1.10)and then i delete game data to get game on 1.0 and i win with first try(because sony again ****ed up) after that again install updates till 1.10 but unable to load some cars. now I play now from beginning and when win all S license then will install update.

you have to format your ext on fat32...pass the files to it...
then plug onto ps3 and install through ''Install pkg files'' - XMB..

if you delete your game saves, will these problems still happen?
