Thread: PS3 got update to fw 3.50 after update Multiman 4.0

I use P3 Go with OFW 3.41. It was okay until updated Multiman 4.00 then PS3 turned to fw 3.50. I used P3 Go downgrade method to "modified 3.41" but now blu-ray playback doesn't work.

1) How would I go back to OFW 3.41? Can I use P3 Go downgrade method to OFW 3.15 then OFW 3.41?
2) Modified 3.41 doesn't allow me to use "System Update". What's the problem?
3) Can I upgrade to CFW 3.55? Any link to help?

Just find 3.55OFW then update to Kemew and you will be fine

You could use QA flag with Rebug 3.55 and downgrade to 3.41 with the Debug System Update.

Will 3.55 CFW play any 3.41 patched Eboot games? or Do I have to apply 3.55 fix again?

You won't need to modify anything, kinchank... just go to kmeaw and you'll see...

HI Gui Nick, yes, I installed OFW 3.55 then use recovery mode to install 3.55 kmeaw. When completed, it still shows 3.55 but not 3.55 cfw. What did I do wrong?

If your FW is BELOW 3.55 simply go to system update and update as usual with the usb. Congratulations you are now running CFW.

Note: If you are running 3.55 , Enter recovery mode and install the update.
1. Turn off Playstation®3.
2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

no, i didn't backup dev_flash3. How to do retrieve it?

I can't play any game (with 3.41 patch) either, do I have to find those patches again?
