Thread: 3.55 Kmeaw Black Ops black screen with MultiMan

Ok so I just updated MultiMan from 2.00.00 to the latest version, and since then Black Ops gives me a black screen when i select it on the MultiMan game screen.

At First it says "Verifying Game Data..." and then for a split second (or so) you get to see a msg saying "Copying Files (0.002 GB) 1/1 ... and the progress bar... which finishes "copying the files" like in another split second)

And after that i get a black screen.. I have to turn off the ps3 by pressing the console button, and when it finally turns off it beeps 3 times.

Tried going back to the old MultiMan version and it would still black screen, although there were no messages shown, only the blackscreen.

I tried loading it with Rogero (not sure what version it is, i installed it a long time ago) and it works.... wtf?

EDIT: my black ops is the US (BLUS) version, and i have First Strike on it (Thanks to gaaraofthedesert :D) ... and its on update version 1.09.

Try installing the bedum bin pkg thing again and also re install your mutilman

I always re install the BDEMU.pkg when updating my multiman, because multiman wont load any games for me if i dont.

+i said on the OP that i tried going back to the old multi man, and got no luck , so i did re install the new one again when switching back, and nothing changed :(

Try making a shadow copy and then install 1.07 patch and it should work.

Updated to 2.07.03 (or w/e the latest one is) and still, it wont work :(

As suggested before, try installing a patch.

Sounds like its trying to direct boot. Make sure its not enabled. Sounds stupid I know but when I last updated MM my internal games all changed to direct boot for some reason.

That's strange..never heard of that kind of issue before.

Tell me about it, took me 3 times trying to load gt5 and 2 times of trying to load rdr-un, throw my controller and have a little cry in the corner before I realised it was enabled.
