Thread: How to use OpenPS2Loader?

Hi,

So i've decided I want to play Bully on my PS3.

How do I load PS2 backups onto my PS3?

I hear of this OpenPS2Loader, could someone tell me how to use it?

I'm going to be downloading Bully do I have to get a EUR since I live in the UK, or is NTSC okay too?

I have a backward compatible 60gb PS3 btw.

there is an old version of multiman that supports ps2 backups.
but compatibility isn't the best.
try the cobra dongle.

yes, but you can't run ps2 games on a non backwards compatible consoles.

I know, but it says that the cobra dongle has a ps2 emulator for the non-compatible ps3's, but it also says that it is slow and buggy, and it was made just for a gimmick.

Truth be told I see PS2's on Craigslist for $25-40.

dont support cobra leeching bastards or any company that SELLS jailbreak devices, they are selling sony's proprietary code

homebrew is not supposed to be for sale...**** the cobra leeches, they are a parasite to sony

did u try googling "3.55 openps2loader" did any tutorials come up??

Apparently you need something called swapmagic whis is somesort of disc which can't be emulated, ahhh, i'll just wait for the cobra usb to be 'hacked'.

yup im waiting for someone to recreate the cobra payload and ill load it onto my teensy ++2.0

oh and u can softmod a ps2 very easy and play ps2 backups on that...no swapping bull****...get a fat ps2 and a ps2 hdd with network adapter(ide hdd)
