i have read all the help section on the first page but im newbie in here, just buy a new ps3 today and the firmware is 3.72. The help section on first page has been write for half a year so have any way to hack the ps3 3.72 up to now. Thanks so much :D

3.55 was the last firmware that was jailbreakable and ran backups of games. You can downgrade your consoles firmware with a flashing tool like the E3 flasher or Progskeet. They cost money, involve opening your console and may require soldering depending on what option you go for.

Once you are on 3.55 you can then play games with 3.56 or lower firmware requirements. For newer games you need to purchase a dongle (True Blue, JBKing) which will let you play most, not all, newer games.
