    Default Ps1 Games on CFW 3.55?

    Is it possible to play PS1 or PS2 Games iso's ect. on my modded ps3?
    also whats the differnce between JB and CFW? because i can boot both types of games.
    I did a search and found nothing btw

    As of now, as far as I know it is NOT possible to play PS1 unless it the real disc, there was a way on FW 3.41. "the differnce between JB and CFW" ok this is not official but JB is what we did using the usb keys (like the AVR Key) and CFW is the custom firmware (or really modified" that is flashed on the PS3 like a OFW from sony allowing you to use homebrew and some of the best reasons to have a PS3, hope this answer you question but I am sure someelse will go into greater detail

    yeah when im looking at the Dls some say JB and some say 3.55 CFW but i can play both JB and 3.55CFW? im not really sure what that means

    they meant pretty much the same thing, JB was what people called it when the needed a USB to run homebrew, CFW is what its called now, because it is actually a custom version of sonys firmware that is installed on the system rather than on a usb
