    Default Split4G + MultiMan 2.00.02?

Okay, so there's a 14 gig file in LA Noire. So I use Split4G (for the first time might I add). So afterwords I transfer it to my external. I install it to my Internal, and I start up the game. I notice that the game is working... kinda odd (no voices, lip flaps, facial expressions, odd cuts, etc). So I open up the File Manager in MultiMan to find out the files didn't even merge. Okay, so then what gives? I assumed MultiMan would just rejoin the files, but I guess not... Can I get some help, please?

I figured it out. Was a pain.

Split4G likes to split the files into two different types. One is a "filename.number.part."

    Other one is "filename.666##."

Multiman doesn't understand the first type of split, but it understands the second type. And you can easily change it by renaming the file, but it's just... a pain. So eh.

It's reported in many threads that the game has some issues playing from the external but running perfect from the internal drive. Perhaps there will be some proper tutorial by someone who got the game working perfect from the external because till now there isn't and perhaps it's just not possible for the moment

I can easily explain this for certain games. For example, Final Fantasy XIII works fine? Why?

The file that needs split is a media file. Yeap, it's just a stupid final cutscene/credit roll.

    It's stupid. Lol.
