Thread: netflix questions,and rebug questions

i have a few questions reguarding netflix

i want to know if anyone has got on netflix since the PSN outage started ,i know people have ,but i dont know if people using jailbreak or CFW have done it


so if you have been on netflix or are using it currently and you are also using 3.41OFW w/jailbreak or a cfw can you please tell me how or if it is or was even possible

and maybe answer some of my questions below if you can,thanks


ok i see that alot of people can still use netflix during the PSN outage or were able to untill about the 23rd of april ,but i think all the people doing that were on 3.60,or are now on 3.61,
so the first thing i want to know is,
1)did it work for people on cfw?
2)did it require you to use rebug with the edited netflix package,the spoofed one?
3)did you also need a rebug version spoofer? remember im talking qbout during the outage,i know that you needed all this stuff before the outage when you could use rebug to sign into one of the dev servers to get on netflix,but since people were getting on while PSN was down i figured that all this wouldnt be needed as you couldnt even get on PSN at the time anyway

so i was wondering if it only worked for people on 3.60 or not

4)if get install the edited netflix .pkg,the spoofed one,cand i get on netflix ,while PSN is down?or could i have when it was working for people without CFW back around april 22nd?

5)i am still using rockbox and im on 3.41 still,because the compatability is better on 3.41OFW than on 3.55 ,so will i be able to get on netflix while PSN is down? or would it have worked back around april 22nd?and would i have needed to use a version spoofer?or just install the edited netflix.pkg,the spoof one?

6)i been hearing that you cant get on PSN with rebug anymore unless you previously had crated an account,so id that just for PSN official and the remapper,or could i still get on one of the 3 dev networks,but just not official PSN?can you do anything with rebug if you didnt have it installed before and didnt create an account back before PSN went down?


i really dont want to install rebug because i hear alot of games dont work with rebug,i hear the compatiblity sucks with rebug,but i want to use netflix,so thats my basic dilema,i also would really like to stay on 3.41 for now since as of now it has the best game compatability,and i dont want to have to replace all my edited eboots with original,especially since i downloaded the from here and dont have the original eboots/param files

can anyone offer any advice please?

really ,nobody used netflix during the outage and has cfw/jb ,that can awnser some of these questions?or know the answers

umm i donno about that...but y not just download the movies or what not to ur computer and use network sharing? its cheaper...as in free
