Thread: PSN NO account

***I've done a search. I've looked through tutorials and I still can't find an answer so please forgive me if I've overlooked a solution to my problem.***

I repair ps3's and I have quite a few that have not been updated in a few years. One of my personal ps3's I just jailbroke with ps3break1.1 and am on 3.41fw (My other one uses custom firmware without jailbreak dongle). However both of them do not have a psn account. I don't have a psn account, have never had one. I just made the transition of being all for xbox360 to saying F*** microballs and giving my ps3 respect. In order for me to create an account (with my current understanding) I need to update which is a big no-no on the 3.41.
All-in-all, I just want to play the psn game FLOWER. That's it. What can I do (preferably on my 3.41 ps3)?????

Check the PSN Upload section for Flower for 3.41 FW.

what do you need psn for to start using a account for PS3, there are plenty of people who own a ps3 that don't have internet and still use there ps3,
just go to Blacktoo's PSN game thread and find the game and install it as a PKG file

Edit: its not in his thread, it looks like the only way to play it is when psn is back up on OFW or if Rebug still works

So is it just as simple as installing the pkg for Flower or do I have to actually have an account on playstation network? because when I try to create an account I get the message
"A system software update is required. Go to [Settings] > [System Update] and perform the update."

So I install the package, It installs fine. I get the message:
"This content can be used if you renew the license/lisense in Playstation Store. Proceed to Playstation Store" I can press X to enter or O to go back.

If I go back I just go back to my menu. If I enter I get the message: "You must sign up for Playstation Network." Which in turn wants me to update to create an account to even sign in.

What can be done or should I just give up on this altogether? Is there a way to do this license thing offline by means of modifying/configuring/downloading (from computer) or whatever?
