Thread: ok im lost................

hey guys im a real noob.so after days of research i jailbroke my ps3 with kmeaws cfw the prepatched one.i installed multiman gaia and rogero manager(all the latest ones).installed bdemu too.so i borrowed my friends retail god of war 3 game and copied it to my external harddisk(its fat32 formatted).i removed the disk and first tried multiman since i copied using that.it loaded went to a black screen,then took me back to the xmd menu,since i read somewhere that you have to load it from the ps3 game file from xmd - app/home/games.........so i did that seemed that it was loading the game (black screen appeared) but then crashed and brought me back to xmd.tried all the back up managers the same problem.even tried reverting to the original kmeaw cfw(non prepatched) still nothing also tried the lv2 patcherv9.(haha i noe its only meant for linux but hey tried the scenall3 something).so please help me i have no clue now.p.s i have a fat ps3 80 gigs think its a 256 mb.

have you tried the game with a disc in the drive?

well god of war 3 is the only game i have so i honestly dont see how tht would help me to find out if its working.and yes i did try it lol.now ive even tried copying the game on the internal and trying to run it but still the same problem.now ive formatted the internal and will wait and see once i have copied the game to the internal again and tried running it.

i dont think it matters if the game disc matches the game on hdd. you are loading the game from hdd so i dont think the ps3 looks for the game in the disc drive it looks for the data on hdd.
try downloading a small game and then see if it works
