Ok first off here is my network setup:

The router I am using is a Novatell Mifi 2200. It's really just a mobile hotspot so it only has wifi. No ethernet ports. I'm using it because 3G is the only decent net other than satellite we can get out here. I've got a straight crossover cable running between my PS3 and my PC and I've bridged the LAN and wireless connections on my PC for internet access. Would have just shared the connection but ****PSN bugs out when I do that.

The Mifi doesn't support UPnP which is why I'm trying to run a straight crossover cable instead of doing it over wireless. Yet when I launch PS3 Media Server it just sits there saying "Contacting PS3..." and the connection test on my PS3 says UPnP isn't available when I know for a fact I've enabled it in Windows.

Also I've set PS3 Media Server to stream over my bridged connection. No luck. And I've got a media server set up with Windows Media Player. Should I disable it?
