Thread: Question about PSN game downloads

I just stumbled upon this forum last night and have been reading through the tutorials and am now planning to buy a JailBreak for Christmas, however I do have a question that I couldn't find the answer to. I've noticed some of the downloads on here are simply the "Full Game Unlocks" for PSN games. Does this also require a Jailbreak or could I simply download the Demo on my PS3 and transfer the Unlock via USB? Would test it out however the download I have going won't be done for a few hours so I thought I'd ask before I waste my time.

Depends on the game. Some games don't have demo's and are direct purchases with the unlock key. If that game has a debug pkg that is the full game then it is a candidate to run on jailbroken PS3's. Also some of those games that do have debug pkg's are demo locked so there is no full game access. Go ahead and buy your jailbreak device. There's plenty of PSN games available here on this site alone that are working. Just follow their instructions. Eventually a hack will be found that will let everyone play any and all PSN games.
