Help required with AC Brotherhood :(
Hey guys, this is my first post...
My PS3 has been jail broken using the iphone 2g and the PSFreedom tut on this forum.
The jailbreak was successful (and works every time). I have also downloaded James Bond Blood Stone and it worked first time using both Gaia Manager and Open manager 2.1-I.
Downloaded Assassins Creed Brotherhood (BLES00910) and the EP0001-BLES00910_00-AC2TITLEUPDATE02-A0102-V01000 update.
I edited the .SFO to read:
"NPWR01254_00 03.4100 ? AC Brotherhood"
I then put the BLES00910 folder on my FAT32 formatted USB such that it is in the GAMEZ folder on the root.
I boot my ps3 into jailbreak mode with no problems whatsoever, insert the USB stick, install the patch first, load Open Manager, insert my CoD MW2 disk into the drive and Open Manager now shows both MW2 and AC Brotherhood. I click L2 to patch to 3.41 (even though the SFO is already edited) and press X to launch while highlighting AC Brotherhood.
I am then returned to the XMB with the MW2 disk now called AC Brotherhood.
I highlight the disk and press X.
The screen goes black for a moment and I am then returned to XMB with an error on the screen that reads:
"An error occurred during the start operation - 80010007"
and there ends the AC Brotherhood experience :(
If someone could help me get AC Brotherhood working I would really appreciate it.
Thanks for taking your time to read this,
Charles

I dont think thats you problem...
If you edited the PARAM.SFO yourself theres no need to have your manager do it for you.
Are you sure you did it right?
Unless you downloaded a fixed version of it, you allso forgot about one importent thing.
You have to create a empty folder in USRDIR! Name it ASSASSIN_ISO
This is importent since the folder is missing from the rip.
Hope it helps.

Yep i just checked the error code you provided 80010007 = "An error occurred during the start operation"
Witch I belive is because of the missing ASSASSIN_ISO folder or the edited PARAM.SFO
Edit.
I just read you post again. and is it true you are running the game from a USB?? or is it just the update.PKG??
I think this game only works on internal HDD.... That could allso be your problem!

The .SFO is edited correctly and I have tried booting into the game with both the patch mode enabled and disabled in OM.
I have been trying to run it of the 16GB USB because that's what Blood Stone worked from the first time... I'll try to ftp it to the internal and see what happens.
I checked the USRDIR folder and it already had an empty ASSASSIN_ISO folder. Do you think I should try to delete this and create a new one?
Thanks for your help guys, I'll put it on the internal and report back later this evening...

From what i know now, it should work if you transfer it to internal.
There is no need to run it in patch mode, It worked for me without. I had some problems getting GTA IV to run. it wouldn't start the install. i found out that i was running it in patch mode and it blocked the install. And since AC Brotherhood allso does a install i think that it might be a problem.
