Thread: Another person needing help.

Hi.
lol. SO i know there are a lot of people out there asking for help. I've tried searching and found myself just ultimatley confused.
We have a ps3 250gb. And it's firmwire is 3.50 :( .. It forced us to update so we had really no option if we wanted to play this time.
But is there anything i can do to hack it? or get the programs on it at this time to play backups? (I've softmodded my best friends Wii)- and i really don't want to do any hard mods. is the mods out now all hard, or are they soft as well?
Is there anything I can do to downgrade?
And being a psn+ member would that destroy all games i have from there? or is there a mod around that as well?

With 3.50 you can not hack it ATM.

The ps3 was released in 2007 so it took up until now for them to exploit it. Is that what you are asking??

Close. I'm wondering how long it has taken for each FW (firmwire) hack that has been done to come out after the official release of the FW.
Like when it went to 3.41. How long did it take for that to come out with hacks and mods?
I hope i'm making more sense this time. Sorry for the confusion.

well 3.41 is pretty much the only hack so far... so its kinda irrelevent to say "how long it takes" if that makes sense... and im in the same boat at 3.5 but oh well online is worth it :D

i had a brand new ps3 250 gig ps3 got up today and no video boxed it up took it back they replcaed it with a 350 gig manufactued in august tech department where i got it from as a curtsy to every one updaed the fw to 3.50 did not realize it tell i got home.i only got 2 hours of play time on my 250 1 hour of jailbreak i been searching for 5 hours no hacks at all to undo the update needless to say i aim not to happy but what can i do the hackers will get it done

yeah.. Too bad all the cheapest ps3's are still too pricey to just buy for the heck of it. lol!
