Thread: PS3 Backupmanager Not Loading Games

I tried both the regular and stealth and they both do the same. I can see the games in the backup manager but when I click on them it takes me to the home screen and the retail disc still shows up instead of a backup. What am I doing wrong?

You backup the game to a hard drive and then it takes you to the xmb and load the game where disc icon is its like mounting ISO on your pc. You have any random disc in ps3. The process after loading the game is still the same as when you put a game in the ps3.

I backup 3 games to an external hard-drive then to test them I inserted another game I haven't backed up and all 3 don't mount.

I'm having the same problem. The game doesn't get loaded, it goes back to the xmb and the game disc in the PS3 is still shown instead of the backup that was supposed to be loaded.

if u hacked with the TI84 it wont work yet, its being worked on right now

i m having the same problem, i did use TI 84 maybe ths y. I also have to do the jailbreak process every time i turn my ps3 on, or the backup manager shows error whn clicked. is that norman?

yes thats normal.
i used my android phone for the hack and well its been connected all day. lol
my back up manager is working fine.
just keep in mind not all games work off the external hdd

I am having a the same problem, used a TI84 and cant get the backup to mount when it goes back to the XMB.

A fix is on its way today

"brandonlwilson I fixed it. Update coming at some point today, includes PSGroove updates. Today means by midnight, 11 hours or less...stay calm. "
