Thread: Save Games to HDD??

Sorry if this is noobish, but before xbox got this feature I couldve SWORN I heard about the ps3 having this feature...

Basically ripping a game to the hdd for faster loading times (but of course needing the disc to boot)

so does the ps3 have that feature at all or no?
and no I am not trying to do anything crazy, my friends MW2 wont load from the disc so I was thinking about lending him my copy just to rip if it was possible (then using his own disc to boot)

so yes or no?

Some games would install the first time you play them but I am not sure if you have the feature to install it like on the 360.
