    Default Downloading PS3 games

    Hey, i have a ps3 slim 250 GB and found this website,ps3iso.com.
I made an account and everything and saw in the new releases that there is
a ps3 game called "Race Driver: Grid". If i download the files, what do i do?
how to i play it on the ps3???Should the ps3 be hacked(if it can be)?

It should, but it can't. Some like to get the isos now and keep them for later, but there's no garanty of when, if or how this will work.

Well there are certain blue ray model drives that read ps3 game structure in windows but they are not cheap . That is if you dont wanna go through installing linux and neccary tools on your ps3. I had heard something about an iso loader but that never came into being . I would imagine that you would have to backup on blue ray discs when a mod comes out . only bad thing is , is that blue ray media is not cheap and i havent seen the prices for bulk blue ray media drop in the last 6months - to a year so even if it does get hacked , if the only way you can boot copies is off of blue ray disc good luck bc its not going to be that much cheaper than buying a game from a store. Unless blue ray drive / media prices start to drop in the next year. Most ps3 games are dl 50gb blue rays and thats even more expensive than single layer ( obviously) . So even if a hardmod/softmod that actually has working firmware and boots games surfaces in 2010-2011 its still gonna be pricey todo anyways . Weew heres my useless wall o text. Enjoy XD!

At the moment a BR disc is about 4$, which isn't that bad. People said the same thing about CD burners, then about DVD burners. As soon as the PS3 is hacked, BR drives will go through the roof.

It's almost certain that the games will be played off a disc, but what I meant by how is that it might be a patch, so any burnt iso would be useless...

It hasn't been fully hacked yet, mostly just partial hacks.

Yeah that's what I heard...But its probably not going to be fully hacked for a while. I dont think i would do anything with my PS3 though... The last thing i need is a very expensive paper weight...ill just wait until its 100% hacked and tuts are easily found

You gotta remember that most games don't actually take up a full disc, look at New Super Mario Brothers on the Wii is an amazing example of a few hundred MB game taking up a whole disc that's 4.6 and also keep in mind that Sony sucks **** at compression, just look at your patches and saves folder on your PS3 as proof and with that said the PS3 has plenty of multiplatform games that are either on par with the 360 version (Resident Evil 5, DMC4, SF4) or even lower in quality to the 360 version (Lost Planet, BioShock 1) and those are only a few GBs big aswell over on 360ISO.
