    Default What CFW should I use?

    Hey guys,

    I have been off and on watching topics and messing around with the old PS3 slim. I have it on rebug 3.55 fw right now and I haven't been keeping up to date with all the breaking news.
    Any how, I just downloaded Black Ops 2 because I want to use the mods that I have for custom XP, now my problem is that I have no idea what the best cfw is that I should use. The bluray drive does not work so that is my other issue. I remember reading that Multiman integrated something new so you don't need a working bluray drive anymore. I own a 1tb ex hdd to store games so any help that will help to get me running BO2 on this fine machine will be much appreciated. I have no problems flashing back to ofw and installing new cfw, I just don't want to be trying to make this work a week from now lol, my premium membership to rarefile will be almost expired .

    Long story short, I can install the cfw no problem but , I want to play online, need to make game work with non working bluray drive(laser not functioning)


    Here is what the mod pack does that I will be installing:


    This includes the following mods:

    - 999,999 Score per kill in domination
    - 999,999 Score per suicide in domination
    - 999,999 Score per death in domination
    - 999,999 Score per assist in domination
    - XP Scale is set to 4
    - Gun XP Scale is set to 4
    - Force host

    How to use:

    You need a jailbroken PS3 to use this. Just rename the file you download to "t6mp_ps3f.self" and replace it
    inside of the 1.03 update on your PS3 via FTP. Then go on the game, go to multiplayer and search for a match of domination.

    dont try to play bo 2 online , you will get banned , tryack is using spyware. and if you miss this > sony has start baning people on cfw. and god know why tryack is helping them, i think tryack dont like there server. using mods online is worst.

    i think you will be better on 4.30 it seem safe now , but if you want to be safer use 3.55, i am still on 3.55.

    i dont know anything about direct boot. but you could check the mm in news section.

    i think you should go to 4.30 if you dont want to apply fixes for games and updates.

    I want to use 3.55 cfw and spoof to 4.31 . Do I NEED TO USE REBUG FW or what should I use? I expect to get banned, I have ways to get unbanned. I just want to know the quickest way to get online playing BO2 on a PS3 with a broken BLURAY drive half safe. Then I will inject the file with a custom file and be in mohahahaha. In theory lol. Anyway thanks guys.

    One more thing, has anyone heard of this mod on this site?

    If your going to go online at all, do not cheat.
    Cheating/mods is for douchebags.
