How to join files with multiMAN???
Suposedly multiMAN joins files (that had to be split because they were bigger than 4gb) when they are copied to internal hard drive...
The problem is that I never used multiMAN to do that because on the previous firmware I had, 3.55 kmeaw, Comgenie
Awesome File Manager did that just fine, but that homebrew ain't compatible with 4.30 CFW, I get an error (80029564)
when I try to install the latest version that is supposed to be compatible with 4.30 CFW.
So I tried to copy one game, Killzone 3, that has a big file split in 3 parts, using multiMAN's file manager and also with XMB Clone but
none worked, they are copied exactly as they are, and not joined together into one single file. I think this happens because they where
split with Awesome File Splitter that names the parts like this: DATA_PS3.PSARC, DATA_PS3.PSARC.1.PART, DATA_PS3.PSARC.2.PART, etc...
Can the cause of multiMAN not joining the files be the way Awesome File Splitter named them? If so, what is the correct way to name
the files so that multiMAN recognises that they are split parts of one single file and joins them when they are copied to internal hdd, and
what is the best software to split the files on the PC so that they are ready to merged in multiMAN?
I also want to ask (if that is even possible) how to run games with splited files from external hdd with multiMAN?
Sorry for the long post. For all that have the patience to read it or can help: Thank you very much! :)
