why would a game that dont work, say AC3 that was just released be signed with 3.55 revoked keys. i am getting kicked back out to xmb everytime even after i used a eboot patch

if your on 4.21 you need the original eboot because the signed one is only for 3.55 and anything else wont be read. The 3.55 eboot is for 3.55 only

Q. I can not upgrade to 3.21 v1.09 from 3.55!
A. You need to DEHASH! Find a Tutorial on QA FLAGGING!

Q. I am on Rogero 4.21 v1.0 BETA and downgrade is not working for me!!

QA flagging and dehashing are two different things, installing and running toggle_qa.pkg just sets QA flag, to DEHASH, proceed to recovery menu and install OFW 3.55/KMEAW 3.55 from it. NOW your system is DEHASHED. Not just from running toggle_qa.
So correct answers for those questions would be: You need to set QA FLAG!

Q. I am on Rogero 4.21 BETA v1.0 and cannot install Rogero 4.21 v1.09!!
A. You need to downgrade to 3.55 FIRST (And DEHASH) then Install 4.21 v1.09! (And DEHASH)

Also this is bad answer. Correct steps would be: 1. Install 4.25 downgrader .pup via XMB. 2. Set QA flag 3. Install Rogero 3.55 v.3.7 TWICE from recovery. 4. Set QA flag again. 5. Install 4.21 v1.09 via recovery

One more thing..not everyone is reporting that their old games no longer work, some play even 3.55 games just fine without resigning to 4.21. If your games won't work, first try updating them, also try with BD mirror on, if running from external, try plugging it in other usb port and leave other EMPTY, all those have fixed " GAMES NOT WORKING " issues for some.

Isn't this step for downgraded consoles only?
btw there's a typo there, 3.21 instead of 4.21.

Dehashing is different thing from QA flagging. But..setting qa flag is recommended even if you haven't downgraded, many times it won't find update or ask for 4.40 FW when you haven't set qa flag. That's why it's needed.

thats if you are using the signed eboots, they probably wont work
