Thread: ps3 media server on a mac

I can not get my media server to find my ps3. I am using a mac I dont know if this makes a difference. I have tried to do port forwarding but I do not know if I am doing it correctly. I have also tried to force the ip and once again I do not know if I am doing it correctly. I have checked to make sure that my upnp is enabled I found some where that this was a problem for some people. I am lost in trying to get my media server to read my ps3 and my ps3 to find my media server. Can anyone suggest anything that I can try.

I never played around with that kind of thing but by the sound of it I'd suggest a hammer and some foul language.
But seriously, I wish I knew more to help you out.
Maybe someone else here knows.
The only reason I replied to this post is because I know personally that getting unhelpful reply can be annoying but getting no reply at all is more so.

foul language has already happened and I have a hammer sitting right next to me I already was going to get rid of the ps3 then someone told me I could stream blue-ray over the media server now that I know I can do it and it is not working for me I just want to smash it
